We have watched our home state, West Virginia, decline for years in every area—population, economy, and employment. Our team is saddened by the most devastating fact that one of the main causes of this decline is the opioid crisis. On the other hand, we have seen the economic benefit to job creation and tax revenues in states where medical marijuana has been legalized. Additionally, we have seen how medical cannabis programs decreased overdose deaths by up to a third.
Our team understands how badly West Virginia needs the medical marijuana industry, so we established our business in 2016. We now provide an alternative to the practices that have placed our state first in the nation in terms of opioid addiction and overdose deaths and last in economic growth and job opportunity.
